MARUZEN YAKUHIN Co., Ltd., the predecessor of MP AGRO Co., Ltd., was established in Asahikawa, Hokkaido in July 1956. In January 2007, it became a member of MEDIPAL HOLDINGS CORPORATION, a distribution group that supports “medicine, health, and beauty.” Through subsequent corporate integrations within the Group, each and every one of our employees has been making daily efforts to contribute to everyone involved in the fields of livestock, fisheries, and small animals, etc., as the leader in the distribution of veterinary drugs in Japan.

Specifically, as a wholesaler of veterinary drugs and other products, we cover all of Japan from Hokkaido to Kyushu with 31 sales offices and five distribution centers (as of October 2023) to ensure a stable supply of veterinary drugs. In addition, we not only deliver products, but also provide useful information and constantly capture the needs of our customers to “develop innovative veterinary drugs,” “provide a simple and efficient ordering system,” and “contract to offer support for PMS (Post Marketing Surveillance),” etc. as we continue to take on the challenge of various innovations.

We will continue to contribute to the healthy growth of animals as well as food safety and security while also aiming to realize a sustainable society and enhance our enterprise value by putting the MEDIPAL Group’s sustainability policy of “Connecting to the Future with Energy and Brightness” into practice and by creating distribution value in line with our management philosophy.
